2020 was an interesting year. Not only did the whole world have to deal with a Supersized Flu Virus, but I can’t remember ever reading or hearing more conspiracy theories in any one year before this one.
The latest and greatest of them all are all about the Great Reset, which would herald in the New World Order and pave the way for the Ultimate Anti-Christ to appear.
The fun part is that this nonsense is being spouted by people who consider themselves to be Christian. And yes, I am also a believer in the Son of God, but that is exactly why I can’t believe people’s reactions.
Let’s break it down. If they are all correct and everything happens the way they say it will, then that also means that the prophecies given to the author of the book of Revelations are about to come true. Whether the events are positive or negative (Revelations is a scary book, at best!) doesn’t really have bearing on my thought process. What does, however, is that that would mean that Christ’s return to this world is imminent, right? So… isn’t that a reason for every Christian on this planet to rejoice and make sure his or her issues with God are sorted? It is a time for us to examine our faith and ask ourselves whether we truly walk our talk or whether we are simply paying lip service to religion. It’s a time to self-examine, to repent, and – guess what!? – to RESET our lives to the way God intended them to be.
So maybe the Great Reset is upon us, after all, but maybe we are going about it all wrong…
Just a thought…
